INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy provides you with a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings to clarify them, as well as gain insight into how they contribute to your overall wellbeing.
No matter where we come from, we share many of the same challenges, desires, wants, and needs. Therapy can help you explore these factors, and move towards positive changes in your life.
COUPLES THERAPY
Couples therapy provides you with a place to identify, explore, and improve communication, maladaptive behaviors, and other factors that might be having a negative impact on your relationship. Therapy can also help you express and discuss concerns and resolve conflicts with your partner in an appropriate and assertive way. In the process, you can improve respect, affection, and intimacy, which can lead to a more fulfilling relationship.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
CBT is a type of psychotherapy which assists clients in identifying and changing destructive patterns or deep-rooted beliefs about themselves. In this manner, by replacing negative and unhelpful thoughts with positive and helpful ones, the person is able to view a situation in a more objective and realistic way, which leads to a decrease in anxiety, stress, and other maladaptive beliefs and behaviors.
“CBT is based on several core principles, including:
1. Psychological problems are based, in part, on faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking.
2. Psychological problems are based, in part, on learned patterns of unhelpful behavior.
3. People suffering from psychological problems can learn better ways of coping with them, thereby relieving their symptoms and becoming more effective in their lives.
CBT treatment usually involves efforts to change thinking patterns. These strategies might include:
· Learning to recognize one’s distortions in thinking that are creating problems, and then to reevaluate them in light of reality.
· Gaining a better understanding of the behavior and motivation of others.
· Using problem-solving skills to cope with difficult situations.
· Learning to develop a greater sense of confidence in one’s own abilities.
CBT treatment also usually involves efforts to change behavioral patterns. These strategies might include:
· Facing one’s fears instead of avoiding them.
· Using role playing to prepare for potentially problematic interactions with others.
· Learning to calm one’s mind and relax one’s body.”
